The rain finally came.... about 2 inches worth.... on/off all last weekend.    The rain barrels are full again.
But despite the rain I did get out to see an opening of a brand new trail on the Guelph Radial Trail.  Saturday, being International Trails Day was also the the opening ceremony  for the new trail.- and took in a 1.5 hr hike on the new trail.

God Always Sends Rainbows After the Rain
Whatever your cross,
Whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine,
after the rain
View from my back door after the rain
Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God’s always ready,
To answer your call
He knows every heartache,
sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
can calm every fear
Your sorrows may linger,
throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
in dawn’s early light
The Savior is waiting,
somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
and send you His love ..
Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
“God always sends rainbows
after the rain.”

The ducks have stayed now for over a week now.

  1. Hi Janet! Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem! It speaks volumes to me! And the rainbow! It looks like something out of a book! The ducks are very colorful as well! Blessings from Bama!
